This article presents the main results of the project, which ended during the summer 2021. The partners of the ARCTICecocrete project were the University of Oulu, the Lule\u00e5 University of Technology and Sintef Narvik. The University of Oulu studied novel, not yet standardized binder recipes that harden at subzero temperatures. Lule\u00e5\u2019s group studied blast furnace slag containing eco-concrete and how conventional concrete antifreeze admixtures are suitable for eco-concrete. Sintef\u2019s role was to study the hydronic heating system as well as the concrete temperature during transport. We were active with industrial partners in various fields, such as Saint Gobain, Oulun Energia, Peab, HeatWork and Veidekke.
