The bridge is a marked improvement to cross-city traffic in Helsinki and strengthens the competitivity of low-emission modes of transport while also providing a new, impressive marine landmark in the townscape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With a length of 1191 metres, the Kruunuvuori Bridge is a composite cable-stayed and beam bridge with a concrete deck.
