Paaluinfo 1/2023: Kemin biotuotetehdas on ennätyksellinen paalutustyömaa

Kuluvan vuoden syksyllä valmistuva Kemin biotuotetehdas on paitsi Suomen suurin metsäteollisuusinvestointi myös suurin paalutustyömaa kautta aikojen. Kemijoen suistoalueella rakennetun tehtaan maaperään upposi työmaan aikana kaikkiaan 600 kilometriä paalua, mistä noin kolme neljäsosaa on teräsbetonista lyöntipaalutusta. Mittava ja vaativa työ valmistui moitteettomasti ja sovitussa ajassa, mikä johti voittoon Betoniteollisuus ry:n paaluvaliokunnan vuoden 2022 Paalutustyömaa -kilpailussa.
