Espoon uudella Vermonniityn alueella sijaitsevalle, kahden massiivisen pysäköintitalon väliin sijoittuvalle asuinrakennukselle oli tarvetta antaa selkeästi erottuva ja asuinympäristön laatua kohottava ilme. Vahva identiteetti on pitkälti kiinnostavan betonijulkisivun ansiota: sen konstailematon aukotus sekä yksiaineisuus ja -värisyys poikkeavat vahvasti suomalaisen valtavirran asuntoarkkitehtuurin visuaalista hälyä usein suosivista elkeistä.
Vuoden 2021 Kestävä Kivitalo -palkinto jaettiin poikkeuksellisesti kahdelle eri kohteelle. Sekä Tikkurilan kirkon rakentamisessa että Kurjenlinnan kiinteistökehityksessä ja peruskorjauksessa on esteettisesti ja rakenteelliset vaativat ratkaisut tehty tinkimättömällä ammattitaidolla, paikalla rakentamisen perinteitä kunnioittaen.
